I encourage students to work with their bodies to create movement. It’s motivated through different sources – everyday movement, sensations, and impulses, through which they are directed to newer spaces. Understanding body weight and anatomy are a few tools.

PLAY

To explore with the derived tools, reflect and recognize while still in the process of it is the next step. There is a wide ground to experiment as a result which one becomes adaptable to accept and take on surprises that come their way. 

compose

COMPOSE

Finally, we begin to compose piece by piece and create with all the information we’ve accessed and played through. This allows performers to be in a creative space, learning, improvising, connecting with disengaging.
